About The Coffee:
This coffee is from the Rwiri washing station near Matongo, Northern Burundi, and is part of the Yagikawa Cooperative. Yagikawa means ‘talk about coffee’ and is one of the oldest cooperatives in Burundi, founded in 2007.
In the natural process, the coffee fruit is harvested and then processed by being placed to dry in the sun skin-on, meaning the beans receive flavour from the fruit pulp and sugars as part of their development.
