Grown by Pedro Ortega at his farm ‘El Deseo’ this coffee is a classic Colombian profile that you can’t go wrong with.
This Caturra variety was grown between 1900-2000 M.A.S.L. It was selectively picked when ripe then pulped and left to ferment under water for 30 hours
inside plastic tanks. Afterwards it is gently washed and placed on raised beds for 18 days until ideal moisture content was achieved.
Pedro has been a member of Cooperativa de Cafés Especiales de Nariño since 2017. He also decided to produce a specialty quality since he tried his coffee for the first time and realized its potential.
