The Colombian lot we have selected for our pods is grown by Pedro Ortega at his farm ‘El Deseo’ in the region of Buesaco, Narino. Pedro has been a member of Cooperativa de Cafés Especiales de Nariño since 2017.
This 100% Caturra lot is grown between 1900 – 2000 meters above sea level and enjoys a perfect climate of 16-24 degrees throughout the year.
Process: Washed – This was pulped and left to ferment under water for 30 hours inside plastic tanks, afterwards gently washed and placed on raised beds for 18 days until ideal moisture content was achieved.
