Axil sourced this coffee from the West Valley of the Lourdes De Naranjo region of Costa Rica. This microlot was selected for it’s sticky sweetness, elegant acidity and juicy fruit that comes through beautifully in the cup.
Sin Limites only produces 200 bags of coffee per year, highly prized for it’s honey processing specialty. Honey-processed coffees, sometimes called semi-washed or pulped natural, are a process that aims to deliver the best of both natural and washed coffees. The outer layer of skin is removed in the early milling process to leave a sticky mucilage, that then dries to the bean on the raised beds of Sin Limites.
