2025 marks the 8th consecutive year that we’ve offered coffee produced by Kleumon Silva Moreira on his farm, Sítio Canaã. Now in his 30s, Kleumon has been working in coffee since he was 18, starting out alongside his mentor (and another one of our producing partners), Antônio Rigno.
Kleumon established his own farm in 2016, and set about meticulously planting it with a wide range of varieties. He has also planted a thriving nursery of coffee seedlings, to expand his own plantation and to sell to other local producers, which is an important part of his income. During the busy harvest period, Kleumon’s picking team consists of his friends and family members, including his mother, Elisabeth, who lives nearby.
Every season, Kleumon’s coffees impress us with their consistency and complexity. This delicious microlot is no exception – it’s distinct and well-balanced with a lovely, lingering cocoa finish. We hope you enjoy!
