This coffee was produced by Adrián Anacona on his six-hectare farm in Colombia’s Huila state. Adrián grew up in a farming family, learning how to grow exceptional coffee from a young age. He took over the family farm five years ago, and has since focused on renovating the plantation and improving operations. Today, the farm boasts some 20,000 coffee trees, most of which are of the Pink Bourbon variety.
Pink Bourbon is an Ethiopian landrace variety prized for its intensely floral, complex flavours and elegant acidity. This variety thrives in south-west Huila, and Pink Bourbon coffees from this area are now highly sought after. We selected this microlot for its creamy mouthfeel, stone-fruit flavours and sweet, caramel finish. We hope you enjoy!
