A Washed Heirloom Ethiopian filter at its finest. Showing a huge amount of sweet peach, juicy pear, perfumed blossom florals and defined green tea-like finish.

SOURCING

The Webanchi Washing Station was built by Primrose next to a school near the town of Wete. Access to electricity meant the station could continue processing coffee after sunset, a difficult task in the region. The proximity has led Abraham, Mezeret and Project Origin to work closely with the teachers and staff to provide the support they need to educate local kids. A symbiotic relationship that improves both qualities of coffee and quality of life.

Ethiopia is widely acknowledged as the birthplace of coffee and is highly respected in the Specialty Coffee industry. The country is the sixth-largest coffee producer. In 2017, the Nation produced approximately 470,000 tons of green coffee, exported about one-third of it, and the rest was consumed within the country.
