SOURCING
The Thuti wet mill is located in the heart of Nyeri County in Central Kenya. It processes cherries from several farmers in the surrounding highlands who transport their harvest to be combined and sorted before processing.
The coffee is pulped and soaked in concrete tanks for 12-18 hours. After fermentation is complete, it is thoroughly washed in concrete channels to remove any remaining mucilage and then laid on raised beds for 12-21 days to dry.
