We have tasted one of the cleaner Caturra Naturals from Elida Estate this year. Showing lots of fresh and ripe stone fruit, subtle raspberry notes and a lingering hibiscus-like floral quality.

This particular Lot comes from the La Torre 'The Tower', the most coveted plot of land at the farm's highest growing elevation. It's processed using Wilford's Anaerobic Slow Dry (ASD) method, where the coffee cherries are fermented in a sealed tank for approximately 120 hours, then dried on raised beds for 45 to 60 days. The longer drying time results in a complex cup with notes of stone fruits and a sparkling mouthfeel.

The Lamastus Family Estates is a coffee company founded by Robert Lamastus in 1918 and continued by his son Thatcher. It comprises three coffee plantations in the Panamanian Highlands. Elida Estate is their original farm located within the Volcan Baru National Park, a protected Ecological Reserve growing coffee plants surrounded by natural attributes that contribute to the uniqueness of their coffees.
