Known for its dramatic landscapes, Nariño is equally celebrated in the coffee world for its exceptional growing conditions. Volcanic soil rich in nutrients and high-altitude farms provide the perfect environment for cultivating distinctive, high-quality coffee. Taita, from producers Erwin Benevides and Deyby Erazo, embodies the best of the region, with an elegant balance of fruit, acidity, and texture.
Grown on the western slopes of the Andes in Colombia’s far southwest, Taita reflects the unique qualities of Nariño’s terroir. After featuring this coffee as espresso on our menu last year, we were captivated by its clarity and complexity. This season, we’re bringing it to the filter lineup, where a lighter roast highlights its remarkable flavour profile. Expect condensed fruit flavours, winey acidity, and a clean, refined finish.
