Mario Hervas has a beautiful coffee farm in Quito, Ecuador. The farm grows mainly Typica Mejordado, an old world varietal that is prized for its fruity and floral flavour profile. Mario is a multi talented producer who also manages Ice Cream parlour in the city of Quito. Combining his business sense and passion for good flavour he has worked hard to bring the processing and drying of coffee at Finca El Meridiano up to a world standard.
The washed Typica Mejordado from Mario's farm is fresh and clean with big syrupy sweetness, we find it has notes of Peach, Kiwi, Agave Syrup and will make delicious filter coffee.
