Jhonny Corina has been farming his 8-hectare plot in La Asunta since 2015, growing Java, Gesha and Castillo among citrus, plantains and native forest trees. In a region historically dominated by coca, he's part of a growing group of producers showing specialty coffee can flourish in the high, rain-fed Sud Yungas. Cherries are hand-picked and sun-dried on the farm — this washed Java lot delivers a clean, sweet cup with red apple, orange and Manuka honey.
