Ethiopia Banko Gotiti – Washed process

Its washing station takes in cherry from roughly 2,000 smallholders, most of them farming garden plots of about a hectare each. That garden-plot model has been the backbone of Ethiopian coffee for generations, and it still turns out some of the most distinctive lots in the world. Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee and holds more genetic diversity than anywhere else on earth, with DNA testing confirming over 60 distinct varieties across the country.
