Siko sits high in the mountains of Uraga Woreda in Ethiopia's Guji zone, a pocket renowned for some of the area's most exceptional lots. Generous rainfall, rich soils and serious elevation give the cherries a long, slow development, and careful natural processing at the Alemayehu Sali washing station locks all that fruit into the cup. Once grouped with Yirgacheffe, Guji's distinctive microclimate earned it recognition as a growing region in its own right — and this espresso roast shows why, with deep berry and plum jam sweetness, a floral rose lift and a dark chocolate finish.
