Grown in Ethiopia's south in the heartland of Yirgacheffe coffee, Halo Beriti takes its name from the area where it is produced — home to Gedeo farmers who have cultivated coffee alongside food crops for generations. The lot combines native heirloom varietals with selections developed by the Jimma Agricultural Research Center suited to the area's high altitude. The washing station is run by two partners: Abeyot Ageze, a local farmer from Gedeo heritage with his own smallholding, and Mebrahtu Aynalem, who brings a background in coffee marketing.
