I love this as espresso but beware the flavour profile is completely different depending on burr type - amazing with conical burrs (niche Zero) giving the choc ganache and mixed berry flavours but not with flat burrs - flat and acidic.

The coffee beans from the Pelé Espresso roast (roasted on September 12) appear to have lost their freshness entirely. It smells nothing!!!!!!Upon opening the bag, there is no discernible aroma, which is unusual for freshly roasted coffee. Additionally, the beans have a dry and dull appearance, lacking the expected slight oil sheen typically seen in espresso beans. The surface texture and lack of fragrance suggest that the beans have undergone oxidation and have exceeded their optimal freshness window, resulting in the loss of both aroma and quality.

Got 250g x 4 bags, none of my shots were good. Tried numerous combinations of grind sizes, dose, yield, pressure, temeprature, all tastes overwhelmingly burnt.
