Grand Master has been my favourite blend for the past year. I brew it with a pourover method, let it sit for about 5-10 minutes and mix in some milk. It produces a nice and rich cup of coffee.
It is great coffee I will order again with my next staples with Direct Coffee.
Wonderful red fruit and a mild citrus and caramel sweetness. An oily, rich and powerful coffee. Perfect!
It’s would have to be the best blend I have found so far will definitely will be buying some more 10 out of 10 from me
Normally I would get a single origin for my double espresso and a blend for my flat white. But this blend straddles a good balance between the two that it can be used for both purposes.
It’s not overly fruity so it goes well with frothed milk, but it is also not overly chocolatey so it is brilliant to be enjoyed neat as an espresso. I love it
Pro tip: have it in a flat white with a bonsoy. The nuttiness of the bonsoy complements the biscuity chocolatey coffee blend. It tasted divine
All coffee is sold as whole beans. If you would like your coffee ground please leave a note at checkout.

The Grandmaster is a thesis on high quality coffee and great flavour. We put this together from our top lots, and we don’t just mean our favourites. These are all Grade 1 coffees, meaning that they have been carefully hand sorted after processing to contain less than 3% minor defects per 100g. We build the Grandmaster week to week depending on our line up of coffees, so don’t miss this one.
Each particular coffee is then methodically roasted working hard to roast each bean to allow its very best potential to shine from its terroir ( earth and soil) to be confidently identified when brewing. Through years of experience we have perfected this wonderful roast approach which is brought about from years of trialing the S curve, with this we have focused on an aggressive roast into first crack and allow natural bean development with low heat through to second crack each coffee is carefully monitored so that natural complex sugars are formed with gentle bean development making the acidity shine and create sweetness in the cup. The grand master blend roasted by our head roaster is available through out the year using the finest traceable coffees we have personally sourced through extensive work in Africa and South America. Please enjoy and brew with care and respect.
