Hacienda Carmona is a sprawling estate in the heart of the Antigua Valley, farmed by the Zelaya family for four generations and over a century of coffee growing.
Market Lane's partnership began in 2009, when the farm was run by Maria Zelaya, remembered for her determination and generosity across 60 years of coffee and dairy farming. Since her passing in 2024, her nephew Ricardo Zelaya has led production, blending tradition with innovation on soils enriched by the valley's volcanic minerals.
