Part of Padre's Good Coffee Doing Good series for International Women's Day, this washed Typica comes from Paola Trujillo and her family at Patio Bonito Farm in Pescador, Cauca. One of coffee's most historic Arabica lineages, the Typica here is elegant and clean, with nectarine, orange, grape and honey carried on a sweet, syrupy body and a lingering finish. Paola mentors emerging producers across Cauca in processing and fermentation methods, and Padre donates $8 from every kilo of this release toward the training programme she is building with a Colombian technical institute.
