Producer: Smallholder farmers, Mewa Washing Station
Around 650 smallholder growers in Ethiopia's West Arsi zone deliver cherry to the Mewa washing station in Nensebo Woreda, where farms typically span just two to nine hectares and rely on little to no synthetic input. After sorting and floating to remove defects, the cherries dry naturally on raised beds with frequent turning, giving this lot its bright citrus and cocoa character.
