About: Fazenda Santa Clara was founded in the early 1900s by Italian and Portuguese immigrants and has grown steadily over four generations rather than chasing scale. Moacyr Dias Pereira and Alayde Graciano Pereira steered the farm into specialty coffee, and their four children now run it, with Carlos Henrique Pereira leading day-to-day operations and quality. Large stretches of native forest and protected springs are kept on the property, reflecting the family's belief that great coffee depends on a healthy environment. This fermented natural Catuai is a tropical, fruit-forward cup of passionfruit, papaya and melon.
