About: Octavio Rueda Ramírez started out as a travelling coffee picker after his family lost their land to debt, always aiming to one day own a farm. Rather than saving cash, he built up a small herd of cattle on his uncle's property, and ten cows eventually became the payment for the farm he now runs with his wife. Together they have expanded the plantings, mainly Castillo and Red Bourbon, and coffee has given the family stability and something truly their own. This washed Castillo is sweet and juicy, with caramel and nectarine.
