Region: Los Naranjos, Boquete, Chiriqui
Elevation: 1500-1700 masl
Variety: Pacamara
Process: ASD Natural (anaerobic slow dry)
Tasting Notes: Blackberry, raspberry, purple grape, & chocolate
Producer: Garrido Family
The Garrido family has grown coffee in Boquete since 1959, expanding in the 1970s to take on the historic Mama Cata farm, one of the oldest in the region. Now run by sisters Liliana and Gissell, the property also grows the family's Pacamara alongside their Geisha and Mokkita lots. This particular parcel was put through an anaerobic slow-dry natural process, drawing out a bold, fruit-forward cup while holding onto the structure Pacamara is known for.
