The Nicaragua component comes from Finca Mierisch in Yasicasur, Matagalpa, grown by the Mierisch family at 850-1100 masl (harvest October to February), in Seven Seeds' second year of purchasing. The Colombia component is Matambo in Gigante, Huila, where 30 contributing producers grow at 1500-1900 masl (harvest September to December), sourced through origin partner Caravela in their ninth year of purchasing.
