Mwendi Wega is an estate and washing station near the town of Kerugoya, in the Kibingo district of Kenya's Kirinyaga region. Cherry is delivered by the smallholder members who farm around it, then fully washed and dried at the station before export. Seven Seeds bought this lot for the first time in 2026, sourced through Cafe Imports, and rated it their highest-scoring Kenyan of the year. Roasted light for filter brewing, it drinks vibrant and fruity, carrying the refined acidity Kirinyaga is known for.
