Orange Bourbon started out in El Salvador and made its way to Nicaragua with farm owner Alejandro Saldana. It ripens to a burnt-orange rather than the usual red, which makes picking at peak ripeness genuinely hard — and is part of why lots like this stay small. This one is a 69kg micro-lot.
Grown at 1350–1450 masl and fully washed, it lands floral and clean as a medium roast built for espresso — cherry and lime brightness sitting over a soft custard sweetness.
