Follow the recipe

If I'm honest, I didn't start out appreciating these beans, coming off the back of a fantastic single origin, they just didn't hit the spot like I'd hoped.

Then being asked to review, I saw the recipe: 94 degrees. Could a single degree really make the difference? As it turns out, a lot more than I expected! Just a little warmer really allowed them to open up those creamy chocolatey notes. I've appreciated the last 4 doses that were left in the bag, they hit the spot like a good comfort coffee should. I'll have to give them another go.

Really nice for milk drinks

Haven’t tried their beans before but was pleasantly surprised by these. Really does cut through the milk well - great blend.

Good in milk

Enjoyed this blend. Nice that they give a recipe so that we can enjoy it the way the roaster intended

Slim shady?

As you grind the beans, it has a nutty chocolate smell to it. Once the coffee is extracted, they taste a bit fruity. It's definitely different and a bit shady. A decent drop indeed.

Specifically designed with the milk drinker in mind, Shady Lane cuts through dairy and non-dairy milks like a knife in the dark. Big, bold chocolates and caramels with plenty of toffee and cherry sweetness.
